I’ve finally decided to upgrade my photography kit by ordering a professional-grade lens from an overseas distributor. The online price is fantastic, but I’m getting nervous about what happens once it reaches our border.

I’ve heard countless stories of people being hit with charges that nearly double the original cost of the item. Since my budget is pretty tight after saving up for months, I really need a way to figure out the total landing cost before I commit to the purchase.

Does anyone have a reliable method to accurately estimate import fees?
