I've got a 2014 A4 with the Multitronic CVT and honestly I've been driving around with a knot in my stomach for the last couple of weeks because the car's started doing this weird thing where it hesitates when I pull away from a stop, and I can feel a slight vibration through the floor at highway speeds that I'm pretty sure wasn't there before . I know these CVT units have a bit of a reputation for failing if they're not looked after, and I'm starting to think I might have left the fluid service too long. I work out near the ICAD area so ideally I'd love to find a workshop that's not too far from there, somewhere I can find quality CVT transmission repair specialists near ICAD who actually know what they're doing with these Multitronic boxes rather than just guessing. I've seen a few places mentioned online like Drums Auto Service in Abu Dhabi that specifically say they handle Audi DSG and transmission repairs with European diagnostic tools, and Al Zaabi AutoCare also mentions they have transmission specialists for Audi models . I'm just not sure which ones are actually good or if there's a hidden gem in the ICAD or Musaffah industrial area that I haven't heard about yet. I really don't want to be that person who ignores the warning signs and ends up with a 10k repair bill, but I also don't want to take it to a shop that doesn't know how to properly diagnose a CVT and just throws parts at it. Has anyone here had a good experience with a transmission specialist in that part of Abu Dhabi? I'd really appreciate a solid recommendation before I make a decision.
