How reliable are free online metronomes for setting tempo? (12 อ่าน)

Some people say free online metronomes are unreliable for setting precise tempo, but others swear by them for regular practice. I recently tried a few for my guitar lessons and noticed some lag or inconsistencies, especially when adjusting BPM. Has anyone found free online metronomes that consistently keep accurate tempo without jumps or delays? I often switch between fast and slow tempos, and it’s crucial that the metronome keeps steady throughout. Also, does the device used affect how reliable the tempo is on these free tools? I’d appreciate hearing real user experiences about how trustworthy these free metronomes are in different practice scenarios.

I’ve tried a few free online metronomes, and honestly, some work better than others. Recently, I started using metronom online, and it’s been pretty reliable so far. Even when I change the BPM back and forth during practice, it keeps a steady beat, which makes things much easier. It also runs smoothly on both my laptop and tablet, so I don’t have to worry about annoying delays or uneven clicks. I’ve had issues with other tools losing rhythm after a while, but this one has worked well for me. Changing the time signature is simple too, and it doesn’t seem to throw off the tempo. Of course, performance can depend on your device and browser, but overall, I find it useful for everyday practice. If you need a simple metronome without paying for an app, it’s definitely worth checking out.
